02.

Is this an individual competition? Or can we work in teams as well?

This is a matter for each university to decide for itself. Our suggestion is that you prepare your application in groups of two or three at most.

03.

We noticed that the 1.5 meter level difference from the site is not marked in the available 3d models. Can we get access to a more complete 3d model that includes the topography level differences as well?

We have made a modified 3d model, which will be available in the competition materials.

04.

I believe that the history of the place is particularly important, and to remove certain elements present on the site without prior analysis can be a mistake. I would like to know why and how the massive wall that delimits the two sides of the site was generated, but also what functions the previous constructions on the site fulfilled.

Unfortunately, we do not have any definite information, but we suspect that the wall belonged to a building on the plot of Szepességi Street. It is not relevant to the competition, but sadly the brick wall was demolished last week.

05.

Can we get the land register of the land?

We do not possess the land register of these plots.

06.

Is it mandatory to do the project in Allplan and Lumion?

No, it's not mandatory. You're free to use the softwares of your choice. However, as partners, Allbim provides additional support for students whenever requested. Moreover, special prizes are available for those interested in working with these 2 specific programs, namely Allplan and Lumion.

07.

How long will the tenants stay in the apartments? Will it be anything long term or short term? Also, who would the intended tenants be?

The exact definition of the occupants and the duration of their stay is part of the design task. However, bearing in mind the social aspects of the competition, it is essentially a short-term rental for people in social need.

08.

In the program it is mentioned that the cafe should be clearly visible from the street; does that mean that this space cannot be positioned with the access oriented to the Hatvan Street, because this street has less visibility than Szepességi Street?

Depends on the design decision. If reasonable, the café can also face Hatvan köz.

09.

How deep are we allowed to excavate in the terrain of the site?

Again, within the bounds of rationality, it is a matter of design judgement.
